Should we change the design of her room?

My daughter's room has been the same since she was in 3rd grade (she is going into 8th this year). I'm thinking about letting her change her walls and bedspread, not furniture, maybe get a new rug or lamp and be set. She has 2 walls that are painted pink with darker pink, lighter pink, turquoise, and tan polka-dots, the other 2 walls are the turquoise color with pink, darker pink, lighter pink, and tan polka-dots. Is this a little young for her? Any ideas on what we could change it to?
