What can I substitute for earrings?

I got my ears pierced 2 days ago so they're pretty new and I lost one of my earrings already. What should I substitute it with? I need something that's sterile and won't get it infected but will keep the hole. I got it pierced at a 10g so I need something little bigger. I was thinking safety pin for now?
