Can I go to Western University for first year, and then to Mcgill for second year?

So I'm a grade 12 student right now going to university in the fall. I was accepted to both Mcgill and Western. My boyfriend really wants me to go to Mcgill so that when he comes in a year we'll be together. Except I would like to be with my friends who are mostly going to Western. So my question is, is it possible for me to go to Western for my first year and then transfer to Mcgill? If so, will it be a lot harder for me to get accepted to Mcgill second year?
