What can I use to accessorize a simple polka dot dress (for prom)?

i bought a reallllllyyyyyyyy simply dress its black and has small white polka dots, now i'm thinking its to simple..should i wear a while hat? what else can i do? what kind of jewelry? what kind of shoes? please help me i can't get another. thank u!
